The SAT General is an entrance test required by most US Colleges and is conducted by an organization called the College Board. It is a pencil-and-paper test and contains three main sections - English (Reading), English (Writing), and Mathematics.
This test is an important factor considered by colleges while evaluating your applications. Although there aren’t any specified cut-offs, most colleges provide statistics on the range of test scores of their admitted candidates. These statistics (among other things) are used by students to create a list of colleges they want to apply to.
You need to remember that getting a high score on the SAT is required but not enough for getting into the best universities in the US.
You will need a valid passport or Aadhar Card as ID for taking the test.
We recommend taking the test as soon as possible. If you are in class 11th, take ample time to prepare for the test and schedule it before your final exams. If you are in class 12th, we recommend starting your preparation as early as possible and taking the test in March.
